time to spit some game… tomorrow

first of all, i have to say sorry for the lack of updates this week. you see, little big planet arrived last saturday, and ive spent a lot of my free time running, jumping, swinging, and creating. it is quite excellent. definitely a must-buy if you have a ps3.

okay now that we got that out of the way, tomorrow is halloween, and heres how that shakes out

• as a kid, that meant you got to dress up as your favorite super hero/princess and run around your neighborhood asking for candy.
• as a teen, it meant you got to get dressed in all black and go around egging/toilet papering peoples houses.
• as a 20-something year old, it means you get to put on all sorts of sexually deviant clothing and try to attract the attention of a member of the opposite sex.

for guys, this means dressing up as

• spartan from 300 if you have the guns and the abs
• dick in a box if you dont

for the ladies, youve got the options of

• sexy kitten
• school girl
• naughty nurse

now halloween is one of those occasions where everybody goes out. it doesnt matter if your single, in a relationship, or in a coma. youll see everyone out at halloween parties, meaning if your single, this is the perfect place to meet members of the opposite sex.

sadly, other singles dont travel alone, so that sexy kitten or spartan youve been eyeing all night? well she or he comes attached to the hip with that ugly betty two face - and youre not even sure if ugly betty or two face is wearing a costume.

this is when you need a grenade jumper. what is that you ask? well a grenade jumper is one of your friends who will jump on ugly betty or two face, occupying their time and buying them drinks so that you can talk to the sexy kitten or spartan.

we salute you brave grenade jumpers - making the land safe for single people everywhere.

boo. little big planet has been delayed. i was really looking forward to playing the game this weekend and creating some awesome levels - some that include jumping, swinging, fires, spikes, snakes, robots, missiles, cars - the whole nine.

trust me, i know how to make a good video game level - ive been studying up on the subject.

the main character, sackboy, looks pretty awesome, so how does this delay make me feel? pretty much like the angry ninja sackboy on the t shirts below. so while you cant enjoy the game yet, you can enjoy these t shirts.

monday night nailbiter…

okay for most of you last nights 41-7 pats game didnt mean much. for me, i sat on the edge of my seat the entire time. why you ask? wes welker is on my fantasy football team. after going up 27-0, i was afraid the pats were going to just run the ball and play possession football. however, wes ended up dinking and dunking his way to 63 yards and 1 touchdown - 12.3 points. the result?

thank goodness for fractional points.

catch the halloween spirit!

one of my favorite holidays is right around the corner - halloween. Why halloween you ask? well, its probably the only major holiday where its okay for me to wear makeup and put on weird costumes.

last year, i was a broken hearted cal fan (this was during cal footballs demise from being ranked #2 to sliding to mediocrity). the year before that, i was a hospital gown patient, complete with exposed butt cheeks.

this year, im torn between being homestarrunner or angry ninja. decisions decisions.

anyways, everyone should get in the spirit by picking up one of these angry ninja halloween t shirts! you can change the words from “boo!” to “gimme candy” for extra awesomeness.

i think im trying to tell myself something…

i love mcdonalds. now i dont eat it often, but sometimes i just get mad cravings for a big mac meal - #1 on the menu, #1 in my heart.

so there yesterday, there i was, happily eating my big mac extra value meal at my desk when i see this on my subway cup from monday:

big mac value meal: 940 cal, 50g fat, 14g sat fat.

crap. maybe i was trying to warn myself about something. angry ninja fail.
