one super busy weekend

angry ninja so tired from weekend. lady was gone, so it was filled with angry ninja with friends activities.

thursday night

1. after dropping off the lady at the airport, went to fu lam mum for their late night dim sum. four shrimp dumplings, pork dumplings, and three custard buns later, i am stuffed. and its also 12 oclock. way past my bedtime for a weeknight.

friday night

1. tgi fridays is one happening place. what makes it so? happy hour from 10 pm to 12 am. half off beers and appetizers == super full. also super sleepy. always get the sesame jack chicken.

saturday

1. the day was spent hanging out with my cousin, helping my dad repair the deck (made me feel manly) in the backyard, watching burn after reading, making shepherds pie (recipe to follow later - so delicious), and going out to bjs for appetizers and drinks. i think i just described enough activities for an entire weekend right there.

1. 49ers tailgate! 49ers win! whoo! 10 am - 5:30 pm was spent in beautiful candlestick park.

angry ninja is not like most people

when most people encounter an elevator like the one below, they would probably not enter and ride. after all, who wants to ride an elevator and get shown on one of those creepy YouTube videos where the guy goes nuts and poops all over himself? yuck. that is not sexy.

angry ninja is not like most people. I entered that elevator and rode it up to old pro in palo alto. was it risky? maybe. but I really didn’t feel like walking up two flights of stairs to watch football. plus, i already risked my life many a time at cal while riding in larrys elevator so this one was no biggie. is that weird? would you have got on?

someone is up to his old tricks again…

i used to have this roomate back at cal. he would get injured all the time, to the point where i thought he was either really clumsy or doing it on purpose. little did i know, it might have been a little bit of both.

you see, when you get hurt, the student health center gives you crutches, and heres a little secret guys - ladies dig the crutches. i mean, i dont know if its their maternal instincts kicking in, but the first thing they say when seeing him would be:

aww. how did you hurt yourself?

to which he would respond with one of the follwoing:

a) running across the street to save a puppy
b) wrestling a bear
c) my jerk roomate mike (points to me) hit me with a baseball bat

in reality, he probably hurt himself doing something stupid like knocking over a light into his own head at a party or stumbling off the front porch.

anyways, it looks like hes up to his old tricks again, as once again, hes injured. broken ninja - gets the ladies. he better not try to pull anything because his girlfriend would probably kill him. shes fierce.

great best man speech

to those of you who frequent angry ninja, you might remember the time i went to las vegas for the bridal bazaar (thats my story and im sticking to it). well that guy we went for got married this last weekend. whoo! congrats mike and mara!

now i dont claim to be an expert on best man speeches or anything, but i think the one at this wedding was pretty awesome. great work smallchou. im glad you didnt cry.

afterwards, i did some breakdancing and now my neck hurts. must be getting too old for ninja flips. also not a very good sign when your sister says:

i remember your breakdancing being a lot cooler.

ouch. little sisters are so mean.

are you ready for some football?

as a proud season ticket holder, i went to the 49ers preseason game against green bay to see how aaron rodgers would play (not bad, considering two receivers dropped two touchdowns). jt osullivan had some good throws and some bad ones. not much to get excited about there. alex smith was, well alex smith.

what you can get excited about is josh morgan, sixth round pick out of virginia tech. kid looks like he could be special (special as in not suck like as much as our other wrs).

right now youre probably thinking, whatever. i dont need your recap of a preseason game, i can get that on espn. fine. youre right. here are some pretty pictures instead:
