are you ready for some football?

as a proud season ticket holder, i went to the 49ers preseason game against green bay to see how aaron rodgers would play (not bad, considering two receivers dropped two touchdowns). jt osullivan had some good throws and some bad ones. not much to get excited about there. alex smith was, well alex smith.

what you can get excited about is josh morgan, sixth round pick out of virginia tech. kid looks like he could be special (special as in not suck like as much as our other wrs).

right now youre probably thinking, whatever. i dont need your recap of a preseason game, i can get that on espn. fine. youre right. here are some pretty pictures instead:

im finally going to be able to see aaron rodgers play live again. since he left, cal football has not been the same. *sob*

itll be interesting to see if he lights it up tomorrow to rub it in our faces. i wonder if he still wears that joe montana t shirt under his game day jersey. after all, we did choose to draft our starting quarterback alex smith over him. oh wait, our starting quarterback is jt osullivan, who used to be 3rd string qb from detroit? damn you mike nolan.
